By default, Inviters receive all notifications for a board, including in-app alerts and emails. You can also adjust your settings so that other team members (specifically, Editors) get these notifications as well. Here’s how:
1. Go to your Folloze homepage. Click on the board you want to manage.
2. Click the Design tab. Click Contact / Alerts.
3. Use the toggle buttons under Who gets alerts to determine who receives notifications.
Inviter alerts are turned on by default. You can also turn on alerts for Editors. Use the drop-down menu to select which Editors will receive alerts.
In general, however, we recommend you only turn on alerts for the Inviter, not Editors.
This ensures the Inviter always gets the information they need. It also keeps Editors from getting flooded with alerts that aren’t relevant to them.
4. At the bottom, click Save to save your changes.
Managing alerts for internal viewers
Under Contacts / Alerts (see above), there’s a feature called Do Not Alert on Internal Viewers (from your company).
When this feature is turned on, you will not receive any alerts about actions performed by internal viewers who belong to the same company as you (as identified by their contact information). Instead, you will only get alerts about external viewers from outside companies, like prospects.
