Frequently Asked Questions on Using Folloze
Q: Where do I go to get training?
A: Folloze @ Microsoft Social Selling Program
Q: Can I send the board to multiple people in the same email? If I do that, would reporting be different?
A: When you send a board to multiple people in one email, a group link is created. When people click that link, you will know that they are part of that group, however, they will not be uniquely identified.
Q: How do I share a board on LinkedIn?
A: To share a board on LinkedIn, please go to app.folloze.com click into the board. Then click the chain link icon on the top right, and select group link. Type in the group name (e.g. seller name - LinkedIn - date), click create and copy the link. Post the link on LinkedIn and follow up on any actionable visitors to the board.
Q: How do I enable tracking of visitors to the board?
A: If you’re sending a board via the Outlook add-in (on a one to one basis) tracking is enabled. If you’re trying to share a board via mail-merge, check the relevant article.
Q: I found a board that I would like to utilize for follow-up or have sellers do the same, is there any way to get it to show up in Outlook?
A: You will need to invite the relevant sellers to that board (invite them as subscribers from the share wizard on that specific board). Once you’ve done that, the sellers should be able to send the board via the Outlook add-in.
Q: When I look at people analytics, why do some people show up as “guests”?
A: People would show up as “guest” if they are unidentified users, meaning when the board was shared with those people, there was no identifying information in the link. This would often be the case when a board is shared via a public link. It would not be the case if the board is shared via the Outlook add-in or a send on-behalf campaign. Occasionally those “guests” represent web crawlers and bots who are not real visitors.
Q: What do people have to do to become a “super viewer”?
A: Super Viewers are people that viewed 3 or more content assets on a board. Folloze has 4 statuses for board visitors: visitor (landed on the board and didn’t view any content), viewer (viewed 1 or 2 content items), super viewer (viewed 3 or more content items), and clicker (clicked a Call-To-Action)
Q: How do I get rid of boards I don’t need on the directory?
A: If you’re on app.folloze.com, you will see all boards you are invited to as well as those you recently visited. If you’re working within the Outlook add-in, you will only see boards you were invited to.
Q: Are we allowed to edit boards or we can only use what’s given to us?
A: You can always copy boards and make edits, however we recommend you don’t make changes and edits on an existing board as it would affect all users that are currently using the board. Internally, users have 3 levels of permission: viewer (can only view content, not change the board’s look and feel), agent (typically sales people, can view content and view analytics, but can’t make design changes), and contributor (usually marketing personnel, can view content, view analytics, and make design changes to the board)
Q. Can I secure a board so that only intended visitors can see it?
A. Yes, you can protect a board with a password under Contact/Alerts by creating a password to share with the intended recipients.
Q: How can I edit a board?
A: To edit a board you must be a “contributor”. If you are, you’ll be able to see the design tab in the board and make changes to the look and feel of the board, as well as add and edit content assets. If you are not a contributor, either reach out to the board owner and ask to become one, or make a copy of the board and edit the copy.
Q: Who do I reach out to then if I see typos, mistakes, or want to suggest an improvement?
A: You can always go to the Folloze @ Microsoft Social Selling Program and submit a request, usually your field marketing representative is the person to go to. Otherwise, on the top left corner of the board, Folloze says who the board creator is, so you may contact them directly.
Q: How do I send on behalf campaign with Folloze?
A:
1. All relevant sellers need to have a Folloze account, check with the Microsoft Social Selling Support Desk
2. MSFT Marketing to prepare the email copy (content)
3. MSFT to send email copy to ExactTarget
