The Eloqua integration goals are:
- Ensure single Marketing system-of-record by reporting lead and engagement data to Eloqua
- Comply with corporate contact preferences defined in Eloqua
- Enrich Eloqua with customer contacts managed by salespeople
- Ensure Folloze activity is mapped to Eloqua and Salesforce campaigns
- Leverage Eloqua as an email sending service for Folloze generated email campaigns
The integration Capabilities are:
- Track Prospect Engagement
- Email send, Email open, Board view, Item view, CTA, Board share
- Create/Update New contact, Create/Use Eloqua campaign
- Contact Subscription Preferences
- Block emails to contacts that are unsubscribed from Global Settings or specific email groups
- Send Email via Eloqua
- Route Folloze email (single touch, multi touch) via Eloqua with seller email as the sender
- Sync Data to Salesforce
- Sync engagement data to salesforce as activities or as tasks (Custom Object)
Integration set up:
- Install the app in your Eloqua instance or in a sandbox environment using a provided link
- Configure preferences in Folloze’ Company Admin on the Integrations tab
Note: You would need the proper admin authorizations from your Folloze CS to be able to control the Folloze admin tool.
- Connect Folloze to Eloqua with the Eloqua Connect button
- Decide if to apply Eloqua’s subscription management
- Choose email group to check recipient subscription against
- Select whether user should be ‘opt-in’ to the email group in order to send the email.

- Decide which method to use to record prospect action in Eloqua:
- External Activities
- Form submits - requires to select the form object in Eloqua
- CDO (coming soon) - requires to select the CDO
- Decide which events to track in eloqua and the text that is used to record it.

- Item view
- Board share
- Action click
- In order to report activities against Eloqua campaign go to the board’s Design Tab
- For external activity - enter the Eloqua Campaign ID to report the external activity. If empty, a new campaign will be created for this board with the name <flz_boardname> and the activities will be reported toward this campaign
- For Form submit - define the Salesforce Campaign ID to report in the form submit

Defining Eloqua as an Email Provider
Another functionality the Eloqua integration allows is the option to send all Folloze board invitation via Eloqua provider rather than through Folloze servers or personal email system.
To enable this functionality:
- Navigate to Company admin
- Go to Email Provider tab and choose whether your organization will all send Folloze boards through Eloqua or per user settings
- A signature rule for Folloze must be created on your Eloqua instance beforehand.
Note: if you choose to send all emails via Eloqua you won’t need to record the actions Email sent and Email opened (see section 6 above)
