Setting up an External Domain for Boards

Even though Folloze hosts your boards, you can customize an external URL for them. 

The following is an example of a URL without a CNAME:                                                   

You can customize the domain as follows: 

Other options may include:

experience.yourcompany.com
discover.yourcompany.com

To configure a company subdomain URL for boards:  

1. Choose a word to go at the beginning of the URL for your boards. For example, engage, experience, boards.    
2. Notify Folloze's Customer Success Engineer of the address you've chosen. 
3. Once Folloze confirms setup on their end, locate the stakeholder in your company, typically within IT or Marketing Operations to configure the DNS setting by adding a CNAME:

• • Edit the Host Aliases (CNAME Records). 
  • Point the new alias (subdomain) to the host: v3gateway.folloze.com

4. Notify Folloze about the domain you configured. Folloze will complete the set-up on their end.
