Targeting new regions and languages using Folloze boards gets easier with the Localization feature. Localization helps to decrease the barrier for new potential customers and adapt your solution to fit the target audience.
Any area not editable in Folloze UI, like the 'Home' category, search button, CTA's and more, will be translated into the language selected by you. This feature makes it simple to provide your customers with a localized (translated) user experience. Content and editable fields have to be in the target language when creating boards and before uploading content.
To enable Localization on a board, navigate to the board you want to enable this feature, then go to
Designer tab -> General -> toggle on Enable Localization
Once you enable Localization, there are two options to localize a board:
1. Select 'Browser locale' and the board will be translated to the visitor's local language by using the browser parameter 'Locale'. In this option more than one language is enabled, but note that content is not translated.
2. Select 'Set localization' to enable a single language for the board.
Then click on the drop-down menu next to 'Select locale' and select the language from the options available on the drop-down list.
The second option is more common to use in Folloze as usually content is set up on the board in one language and the board is modified to one language.
Supported languages are:
de-DE (German)
