Overview
When you upload items to Folloze, they are stored in an external Cloud Storage Provider. By default, items will be stored on Box. Folloze also offers storage on AWS, Azure, and Cloudinary (videos only).
Benefits of using an alternate storage provider
We sometimes hear reports of end users not being able to view/access items on boards due to Box being blocked on their corporate networks, VPNs, or firewalls. This most often occurs with customers who are members of industries with high levels of security, such as FinTech, Banking, Healthcare, and Government. However, AWS, Azure, and Cloudinary are much less likely to be blocked by those customers. If your target audience falls under one or more of those verticals, it may be best to migrate your boards to an alternate storage provider.
What file types are available on each provider?
Box: All standard file types
AWS: pdf, jpg, jpeg, png, svg, gif, bmp
Azure: pdf, jpg, jpeg, png, svg, gif, bmp
Cloudinary: all standard video files (.mp4, .mov, .webm, .avi, etc.)
How do I know which provider will work for my users?
The following Folloze items are hosted with each of our Cloud Storage Providers. You may provide these links for testing as necessary:

AWS: https://engage.folloze.com/b169ab/home/folloze---aws
Azure: https://engage.folloze.com/b169ab/home/folloze---azure

How can I migrate items to another provider?
In order to initiate a migration, you may submit a support ticket with a description of your migration needs. Some things to include in your ticket:
- What storage provider would you like to use?
- Would you like to migrate your entire account (so that all future files are automatically uploaded to the alternate provider), or a specific board or boards? If specific boards, please provide board links or IDs if possible.
- Do you have an audience contact who can help verify that the new provider is not blocked as well?
