To optimize customer engagement, Folloze offers Personalization capabilities so each visitor to the board gets a personalized digital experience. Many elements of boards, including text and images, can be personalized based on different visitor attributes.
Before starting to set personalization rules, read through the Folloze guide to establish a comprehensive strategy.
To enable personalization rules:
- Select the board you wish to enable personalization rules on.
- Go to the Settings tab
> General > Enable Personalization Rules.
- Activate the Enable Personalization Rules toggle. If this toggle is not visible, please contact your Folloze CSM for assistance.
- Click Save Settings.
On each tab, the sections that can be personalized are noted with a icon. If this icon is green, there are personalization rules set on this section.
To create personalization rules:
- Locate the section to personalize and click the personalization icon

- Click Create rules block.
- Choose the attribute to personalize from the following:

- Account Country
- Account Domain
- Account Employee Range
- Account Industry
- Account Name
- Account Revenue Range
- Account State
- Account Stock Symbol
- Demandbase Audience
- Contact Company
- Contact First Name
- Contact Last Name
- Contact Title
- Variant
If you wish to add attributes not included in this list, please contact your Folloze CSM.
From this stage, you can follow two approaches: static or dynamic.
Static Personalization
This approach is best for 1:1 or 1:few design or messaging components. For example if there is a short list of target accounts and distinct messaging or design assets for each.
- Choose an attribute to personalize.
- Perform one of the following:

- Select a value from the list
OR
-
- Add a new value (e.g., Add Account Domain)
3. Click Done.
4. Click Select Image to upload image or add messaging.
5. To add additional values, click the plus-sign below each rule.
6. To save rules, click Done.
Dynamic Personalization
This approach is best for 1:few or 1:many use cases. For example when there is a long list of target accounts and each should see a dynamic version of the same messaging, such as "Strategic marketing for [Account Name]." Or, if you want to ensure that each account identified sees a different banner image.
- Choose an attribute to personalize.
- Select any value.
- Dependent on the section, click either Select Image to upload image or add messaging.
4. To add dynamic values to the text, click this icon and insert the value.
5. To save rules, click Done.
Keep in mind:
- Rules are applied in order from top to bottom, so once a visitor qualifies for the first rule they will not have any other rules populated.
- If board visitors don't align with any attributes in the rule block, they will be shown the section's default (shown on the left-hand side).
