You can add board metadata, including a display name for your board and an image. Metadata helps to enhance your visibility and generate traffic on social media.

Using the right image can highly improve engagement and and attract more social signals. 

To add board metadata and/or image:  

1. Select the board on which you wish to add metadata. 
2. Go to the Settings  tab > General > Board Metadata. 

    

   
3. Enter the Board display name. By default, the board name. is used as the display name. Only in case you change the name here and override the default board name will the new board display name appear. When creating a board, the field is empty. 
4. To add Image metadata, select an image or upload a file. 

Social Media Platforms 

Metadata includes the title, description, and image that are embedded in a web page's HTML code, typically defined using Open Graph (OG) tags for Facebook and LinkedIn, and Twitter Cards for Twitter. When a link is shared, social media platforms scan the page's HTML to find these tags, using them to create a preview for the post.
When sharing links to boards on social medial platforms, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, how your content appears can significantly impact engagement. These platforms extract metadata from the link to create a preview featuring an image, title, and description.
