Overview

Eloqua's asynchronous tracking script deploys a cookie in a visitor's browser that allows customers to track visitors on their Folloze Boards while building out the visitor's record as they browse across any digital domains with the tracking script enabled. As the visitor record is populated with contact details, Folloze can also leverage the Eloqua web data lookup to retrieve contact data from Eloqua to convert leads in Folloze.

The Eloqua tracking script and web data lookup are added in each individual Folloze Board's settings.

Configuration

Before you begin:

• Obtain your Eloqua asynchronous tracking script ID
• If leveraging first party cookies, obtain your First Party Cookie Domain
• Complete the Eloqua Cookie Matching Configuration

1. Navigate to the Folloze Board's Settings tab  > Integrations > Eloqua.
2. Enable the Eloqua Client Script Tracking ID toggle. 
3. Enter the site ID in the Eloqua Client Script Tracking ID text box. 
4. Enable the Eloqua Cookie Matching Tracking ID toggle.
5. Enter the cookie matching ID in the Web Data Lookup Key text box. 
6. If leveraging first-party cookies, enter the First Party Cookie Domain in the text box.
7. Click Save Settings to apply the Eloqua tracking IDs to your board.
   

Best Practices

If all boards should have the Eloqua Tracking Script and Cookie Matching functionality enabled, add the values to a Board Template. When a Board is created from a Board Template, all values will be pre-populated in the new Board.
