For a smoother viewing experience, you can play a single video on your board in the Content section. The video is embedded on your board and is shown in an in-line player on the board itself.

The supported videos include: Youtube, Vimeo, Wistia, Brightcove, mp4, mov, and avi. 

Video items are limited to up to 1GB for mp4, mov, and avi file formats. 

Here are a few ways to use a Single Video section: 

• Display an inspirational content item like a keynote video or promotion item that will intrigue your audience to continue and explore 
• Add a video presenting a message from a key account member 
• Present a video as a teaser on a registration page for a live event 

Designing a single video section 

1. Select the board on which you wish to add a Single Video section and open the Designer tab.   
2. Hover over the border between sections where you want to add the section and click Add Section. The Section Gallery opens and displays the section types.  
3. Select Content from the section menu. Then, select the Video template.
4. Click Add Section. The new content section appears on your board for you to design.
5. To edit a video section element, choose one of the section editors. 

    

   

• Single video section editor - design the overall look of the section and item card information. 
• Background editor - edit background settings, including images and padding
• Text editor - edit the title and subtitle

Note: To personalize the Video section, use the personalization mode in the BX3 Designer only. 

Using the single item section editor  

Using the single item section editor, you can design the Content section settings, such as configuring the video size and autoplay options.     

1. To open the single item section editor, click the edit button on the Video section toolbar.

    

   

2. To hide the Title, Subtitle or Button, disable the eye icon next to it. 
3. Set the Alignment of the title, subtitle and button. 
4. Under Source, click Select Item and choose a video to play. 
5. Under Settings, configure the following settings for the video section:

• Use the slider to adjust the Video Size from small to large. 
• To have the video Autoplay, enable the toggle. When enabled, the video will automatically start playing after the board is opened. Keep in mind that the video will be muted when in autoplay. Also, there can only be one video auto-playing on a board at once. Therefore, if you select to autoplay a video and another one is already auto-playing, the former video is disabled automatically and the new video begins to autoplay. 

      6. To add Animation, select the checkbox.                       

Analytics 

When a user views a video section, it is marked as a viewed item, listing the video's name and the time it was watched both in the Pulse tab's activity bar and the report center.

If autoplay is enabled, the item view action is only recorded when the lead unmutes the video. In this case, the video time duration is calculated from the time the lead unmutes it until their next action or when the session ends. If the lead does not unmute the video, it is not considered as a viewed item.   

Designing the section background 

You can design the background with a unique background color, image or video and update padding settings. 

1. To open the background editor, click the background edit button on the content section toolbar.

Editing the Content section title and subtitle  

You can use the text editor to edit the Content section title and subtitle.  

1. To open the text editor, hover over the text of the title or subtitle in the Content section and click the text edit button.
