Sharing Board Links

To share your board externally, create a link to your board. Copy the board link and share it with anyone you want to give access to. 

You can add custom attributes to links to capture additional information on a lead record in Folloze and pass it on to other systems. Only custom attributes added by the Admin will be captured here when added to a link.

For example, if you want to capture a Salesforce Campaign ID and pass that value directly to Marketo, you are able to append that campaign ID to any board URL. When a lead lands on the board using that URL, the campaign ID will be captured in Folloze. That data can then be viewed in the Pulse table download or pushed to integrated systems like Marketo. 

To create a board link:

1. From your Folloze homepage, click on the board you wish to share.
2. Perform one of the following: 

• • Click the vertical menu button in the top right and select Get Board Link.

OR

• • Select the board you wish to share and click Create Campaign.  Select Get Board Link from the drop-down menu. 

3. Select the type of link you wish to create:

• • Public Link
  • Campaign Link
  • Individual Trackable Link
  • Group Trackable Link 

Public Link

You can create an automatically generated link and share it with anyone. Visitors who click a public link are identified as “Guests" and remain anonymous.

Folloze integrates with several data services to pull in data on board visitors. For more information, reach out to your Folloze CSM.

To create a Public Link:

1. Click Copy Link to add the link to your clipboard.
2. Paste the link in an email, onto a website, or into any mode of communication and share it with others. 

Campaign Link

Embed a link in your email campaign template and share your board via marketing automation/mass email platforms like Marketo or Salesforce. When visitors click the link, Folloze can identify them by pulling their information from the platform.

To gain more information on leads, the email, first name, last name and company name are automatically populated in the campaign link by default. In addition, you can manually add custom attributes to the campaign link to gather even more data on leads. 

When using campaign links, you’ll need to do the mapping for recipient information within your marketing automation tool.

To create a platform-specific Campaign Link:

1. Under Campaign Link, click the drop-down menu in the upper right and select a platform.
2. The campaign link is populated in the textbox, including email, first and last names and company name. See the following example: 
3. (Optional) Add custom attributes to the campaign link. 
4. To add the URL to your clipboard, click Copy Link. 
5. Paste the link in an email, onto a website, or into any mode of communication and share it with others. 

Always send the campaign link in a live email through the platform to yourself (not a test) prior to launching your campaign - be sure to confirm all links and personalization rules populate correctly.

Individual Trackable Link 

You can create a unique link for a specific individual. Whenever the person uses the link, Folloze tracks their activity. Use this method if you want to capture your visitors’ contact information, but are sending the link in a one-off scenario and not through another platform.

To create an Individual Trackable Link:

1. Select Individual and then enter the recipient’s information.
2. Click Create Link and then click Copy Link.
3. Paste the link in an email or into any mode of communication and share it with this individual.  

If this individual shares the link with another person, that visitor's information will populate like the original individual's information. 

Group Trackable Link

You can create a unique link for a specific group of visitors and track sources of traffic to your board from different platforms. For instance, you can create a different group link for each platform on which you post your board's link (i.e., one for LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) When someone visits the board using one of the trackable group links, you will know exactly which social media page they came from.

To create a Group Trackable Link:

1. Select Group and then enter a label (e.g. LinkedIn).
2. Click Create Link, then click Copy Link.
3. Paste the link in an email or into any mode of communication and share it.
