You can create a content item directly in the Content Center.

When uploading a file or web link that already exists in the Content Center, you will be notified that duplicate content was detected. To learn more about preventing duplicate content, read below.  

To add an item to the Content Center:

1. Go to the Content Center.  
2. In the right-hand corner, click Add Content and choose which type of content to upload. When adding files, take note that Folloze supports video formats: mp4, mov, and avi and the maximum file size for videos is 1 GB. 

   

                                                                                      
3. After adding the content, edit the item's metadata information (item's title, description and image).
4. Set the Item Availability.

• Private: the item is not displayed in the Content Center. Other users cannot select private items and use them on their boards.
• Public: the item is public and other users can add them to their boards.   

  5. Click Add. 6. After editing the item, click Save. 

The item is now visible in your Content Center list and you can add it to your boards.    

Preventing Duplicate items in the Content Center

When uploading a new file or link item to the Content Center, a backend check is performed to detect duplicates. If identical items are found, Folloze suggests using the existing item to ensure efficient content management.
This refers to public or private items created by the same user. 

1. To use the existing item, click Use Existing. The system filters the Content Center and finds this item, allowing you to add it to a board. 
2. To create a new item, click Upload File. The item is added as a new item to the Content Center. 
3. To view all content items, click Show All Items. This removes all selected filters.
