Welcome to Folloze, a personalization B2B marketing platform that allows you to create experiences personalized for your customers and micro-targeted campaigns to engage buyers across the entire customer journey.
This basic overview introduces you to the basics of working with Folloze and directs you to in-depth documentation in the Folloze Help Center for more details.
You may designate one or more Company Admins to perform administrative tasks in Folloze. If you are a Company Admin, get started reading the Company Admin Overview.
Before you begin, set up your Folloze profile settings and contact card, and select your preferred email provider. For more information, get started reading the user setup guidelines.
Get started with Folloze
After logging into Folloze, you land on the Homepage, which displays all of your boards.
The top menu contains tabs for the four main views of the Folloze platform. As you select a tab, the main content area changes to match the selected view.
The Folloze platform displays four main views:
- Boards: the default view is My Boards where you can view all the boards you have permissions on and perform board related functions. Using the filters, you can customize the Boards view to display boards on which you are an Owner, Editor, or Subscriber. Or, to view Online or Offline boards and Recent or Popular boards. On the left menu, you can view a list of all your organization's board channels. To quickly find a specific board, you can search by:
- Board name
- Board ID number
- Full URL
- Slog
- Banner title
- Accounts: this view provides insights on all your account engagements, including their activity history and engagement across time and boards. To learn more, see the Account Engagement Dashboard.
- Content Center: this view provides you with a comprehensive list of all content used on company boards. Here you can leverage content used by others in your organization to use on your boards, as well as offer effective content for others to use on their boards. Here you can also add items to the Content Center and manage content items. You can filter the Content Center view to display specific data. To learn more, see the Content Center Overview.
- Reporting: here you can view an overall picture of your board’s metrics. You can filter the Reporting view by boards, identities and accounts. For more information about the metrics displayed, see the Analytics Dashboard.
Creating a Folloze board
You can build a board with engaging and effective content to communicate with your customers.
To do any of the following, click on the option:
- Create a new board
- Add a board to a channel
- View a board’s analytics in the Pulse table
- Post the board in the Company Directory
- Duplicate a board
Customizing your Folloze homepage view
You can change the view of your Folloze homepage by applying filters. This allows you to customize the homepage view in a meaningful way, within the context of your needs.
To do any of the following, click the option:
- Display all your private boards on the My Boards view
- View all Company Directory boards
- Subscribe to a Company Directory board
- Add a board to the Company Directory and allow others to subscribe to it
- Duplicate a Company Directory board
- View all recent boards
- View all pending approval boards
- View your favorite boards
- Select your favorite boards
- Search for a specific board
Creating a channel of related boards
You can group together boards related to each other in a channel and share the channel with other users. It is useful to create a channel of boards for a specific product, department at your organization or sales region. Click the +Add Channel button to start a new channel.
To do any of the following, click on the option:
- Create a channel
- Add boards to channels
- Share a channel
- Edit a channel
- Subscribe to a channel
- Unsubscribe from a channel

Managing content on a board
Select one of your boards to view its content items and begin working on the board.
To do any of the following, click on the option:
- Add content to an existing board
- Add a web link to a board
- Add a file to a board
- Add an article to a board
- Arrange content on a board

- Copy content items
- Delete content items
- Gate your content items
Designing boards
After creating a board, you can design your board and give it a unique look.
To do any of the following, on the Designer tab, click on the option:
- Design a board header
- Design a board banner
- Design the items area
- Select a banner background image
- Add a custom favicon or logo
- Add a title and subtitle
- Change the theme color
- Choose a banner type
- Change banner text color
- Design a promotion area

Controlling access to a board
You can control who has access to your board’s content by setting different levels of access protection.
To do any of the following on the Settings tab, click on the option:
- Set up a protected board
- Set up unrestricted access
- Protect a board using a password
- Protect a board using 2FA

Personalizing the experience of each board visitor
After your board is all set up, you can create personalization rules to give each board visitor a personalized experience.
To do any of the following, click on the option:
- Personalize content items
- Personalize design and messaging
- Create multiple variations of a single board
- Personalize the board for an inbound motion

- Create a board greeting

Inviting colleagues to a board for internal collaboration
While your board is in progress, you can invite colleagues to a board for internal collaboration and assign the invitees different permission levels.

- Change inviter/contact card settings
- Understand the different user permissions

Sharing a board with customers
After you have finished creating and designing a board, you can share it with customers.
To do any of the following, click on the option:
- Run an email campaign
- Invite someone to a board
- Send a campaign on behalf of many
- Send a campaign on behalf of an individual
- Connect to an email provider
- Share a board by links
- Customize an email invitation message
- Send a board to prospects

Creating email templates and content play campaigns
You can create an email template for your Folloze campaigns. When sending a campaign, you can choose from your list of templates or edit the email message.

- View Content Play analytics
Analyzing account engagement and performance data
You can analyze data about your accounts to gain insights about the performance of your boards and content items across time and boards. In the Accounts view, you can bookmark accounts to focus on key accounts and view individual account engagement. You can also view a summary of all activity history of your boards, including the total time spent on a board, which actions were taken on a board, and which items were viewed.
To do any of the following, click on the option:
- Gain insights on account engagement levels
- View activity history across time and boards
- View the total of engaged accounts
- Filter data to focus on key accounts
- View summaries on total items viewed, total number of actions, total time spent on content
- View activity of a single lead

Managing the organization’s Content Center
You can manage your own content and leverage content used by others in the Content Center view.
To do any of the following, click the option:
- Understand how the content center works

- Add tags to content items
- Use tags to search for content items
- Recommend effective content to others

Reporting and analysis across boards
You can view and export reporting data across your entire Folloze system, including all boards, all identities and all accounts in the Reporting view, which can be used to gain meaningful insights about the performance of your boards.
