By default, Folloze only reports external visitor activity to your connected CRM/Marketing automation integrations. With the Include Internal Leads setting, you can choose to also sync activity from internal users - such as employees previewing boards or testing campaigns - to your CRM/Marketing automation platform, following the same rules as any external lead.

This is useful for teams who want a complete picture of board engagement, or who use internal accounts for QA and want that data reflected in their CRM.

Where to Find This Setting

Navigate to Company Admin → Integrations and locate your active integration. The setting appears within each integration's settings panel.

Default Behavior

This setting is disabled by default. Internal leads are excluded from all integrations sync activities unless you explicitly turn this on.

 

What Happens When Enabled

Once the toggle is turned on, internal leads are treated identically to external leads for all integration actions configured in that integration's settings. This includes:

• Creating new lead or contact records in your CRM

• Updating existing records with new data

• Reporting engagement activity and behavioral events

The same field mappings, filters, and rules that apply to external leads will apply to internal leads as well.

What Counts as an "Internal Lead"?

Internal leads are visitors whose email domain matches a domain configured as internal in your organization. Your company's internal domains are defined under Admin → User Management → Settings. Learn more about internal domains here.
