You can give a board its own look by overriding the theme colors set by your Company Admin and adding fonts that are used only on that board. This is mainly useful for ABM 1:1 and partner boards, where you can combine your theme with a customer's or partner's signature colors and fonts to co-brand the two companies.

Custom theme colors and custom fonts apply at the board level only. They don't change your company theme or any other board.

Please note: once you change the board's colors, it will no longer stay in sync with your company branding. Adding custom fonts doesn't have this effect. It doesn't replace your company's fonts; it only adds extra font choices for that board.

To override the theme color style:

1. Choose the board on which you want to change the theme color.
2. Open the three dot menu on the right and select Custom Theme.

The Custom Theme dialog opens.

3. Next to Select color, click on the color and select a new color from the palette.

4. For a different color, click Advanced and choose a new color from the rgb color picker.

The color of all buttons, tabs and tiles on the board is generated automatically based on the new color you selected,

Folloze creates a 5-shade palette for you to apply to all color pickers, which is available in all areas that can be edited by a user, such as text and background. In this way, the user can optimize the brand color.

5. To change the color for a specific component on the board, open the component type on the left and select the specific component.

For example, you can apply a different color specifically for the primary button. This is also useful if you want to emphasize a specific component or use more colors on a board.

6. To set the Opacity of a specific component:

• Open the component type on the left and select the specific component.
• Click on the color. The color palette opens.
• Under Opacity, set the opacity percentage.

7. To go back to the default theme color, click Reset all at any time. This resets the color for all components. Resetting the color will return the theme color to default. In addition, the color of each specific button or tile can be reset separately.

8. To reset the color for individual buttons, tabs, etc., select the specific color of the  component (e.g., Background, Text color, etc.) and click Reset.

The color will be reset for that specific component only.

After formatting a custom theme, a mark will appear next to the Custom Theme setting on the menu showing that it has been changed already.

Custom Fonts

On top of changing the colors, you can also give a board its own fonts. This is handy for ABM and co-branded boards where you want to use the customer's or partner's typography, without adding those fonts for your whole company.

Uploading a font to a board

1. Open the board's Settings and go to the Custom font tab.

2. Click Upload font.

3. Enter a Font family name. This is the name that will appear in the designer. It can use letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens and underscores, and each board can only have one font with a given name.

4. Choose how to add the font:

   • Upload via file: upload TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2 or EOT files. You can upload several files, such as regular, bold and italic, and set the style and weight for each one.

   • Upload via URL: paste a link to the font. It must start with http:// or https://.

5. Check I own or have rights to use this font, then click Upload font.

The font now appears under Available fonts for this board.

Using the font

When you edit the board in the designer, the board's fonts show up in the text menus alongside your company's fonts, listed below them after a divider line so they're easy to tell apart. Select some text and choose the font as you normally would.

Deleting a font

To remove a font, delete it from the Custom font tab. Before you do, make sure the board isn't still using it.

Notes

• Custom fonts only apply to the board they're uploaded to. They aren't added to your company's font library and don't affect other boards.

• The Custom font tab is available to accounts with the Custom Theme feature, and only to users who can edit the board.
