You can create engaging content in a Content Carousel section on your board.  
Additionally, enhance the carousel section with automated or manual animation settings. To preview animation settings, you need to first publish the board.  

Designing a Content Carousel section

You can design the different elements of the Content Carousel section to customize the section’s visual appearance and layout.  

1. Select the board on which you wish to add a Content Carousel section and open the Designer tab.
2. Hover over the border between sections and click Add Section.
   The Section Gallery opens and displays the section types.  
3. Select Content from the section menu. Then, select the Content Carousel template.
4. Click Add Section.
   The new Content Carousel section appears on your board for you to design.  
5. To design the Carousel section, choose one of the section editors. 

• Content Carousel section editor - design the overall look of the section. including animation settings
• Background editor - edit background settings, including images and padding
• Text editor - edit the title and subtitle

Using the Content Carousel section editor  

Using the Content Carousel section editor, you can design the Content section settings, such as configuring the item cards and the item viewer and animation settings. You can set the content items to move by carousel animation or to move manually. 

In addition, you can display tile labels and actions on an item and design their colors.  

1. To open the Content Carousel editor, click the edit button on the content carousel section toolbar.  
2. To hide the Title or Subtitle, disable the eye icon next to it.
3. Set the Alignment of the title and subtitle.   

4. Under Source, 

   1. Choose Curated or AI. 
   2. Select the content items. You can add 3-20 items. 
   3. Choose how to sort the items: by most popular or order. 
5. Under Item information, show or hide the following information on the item card: 

• Description: show a description about the item. The description is taken from the Edit Article dialog.
• Views: show the number of views an item received.  
• Likes: show the number of likes an item received.  
• Type: show the item type (e.g., article, link, file, etc.)
• Tile Action: show an action button on the item and select the button color.
• Tile Label: show a label on the item and select the label text and background color.

6. Under Layout, set the number of items per row. You can set 3-5 items in a row. 

7. Under Item Viewer, select the design:

• • Classic theme displays a content item on the entire screen. This is optimal for displaying files and articles.
  • Lightbox theme highlights the item while displaying it on the background of the board. This is generally used for images and videos.  

8. To show the download icon and allow users to download files, enable the eye icon.
9. Select the layout of content for viewing the journey of next items on the Item Viewer. 

• • Bottom: the next content items are displayed at the bottom of the item viewer.
  • Arrows: use the arrows to move to the next content item. 

10. Under Animation, select the animation settings:  
    1. Add scroll animation - use arrows to scroll between cards.
    2. Add image animation - when hovering over the image, the image will enlarge and pop-out.
    3. Carousel animation - enables items to move automatically
       1. Set animation speed
       2. Set the Carousel direction.

 

Designing the Content Carousel section background 

You can design the background with a unique background color, image or video and update padding settings. 

1. To open the background editor, click the background edit button on the content section toolbar.

Editing the Content Carousel section title and subtitle  

You can use the text editor to edit the Content Carousel section title and subtitle.  

1. To open the text editor, hover over the text of the title or subtitle in the Content Carousel section and click the text edit button.
