Add Marketo Forms to the Folloze instance that users can add to their boards. This self-service solution lets users create and style robust forms in Marketo which are added directly on the board, as a CTAs, as a gated form, or for registration. For example, create a general Contact Form, a Demo Request Form, and a Content Gating form that can be added and used across all boards. 

Retrieve the Marketo Form's Embed Code

1. In your Marketo account, select the form you wish to add to your Folloze instance.
2. Go to Form Actions > Embed Code.

3. Retrieve the required values. Find the line that begins with MktoForms2.loadForm and retrieve the three values that follow within the parentheses.

1. Base URL = //app-sj25.marketo.com 
2. Munchkin ID = 170-ADG-863
3. Form ID = 49

Using the form details, add the form to Folloze.  

Embedding a Marketo form in Folloze

Now the Marketo Form is ready to be embedded in Folloze. Once a form is added to the Folloze instance, it cannot deleted. However, it can be hidden in the Designer. 

1. Navigate to Company Admin > Forms > Marketo.
2. Click Add Form. 
3. In the Form Name field, enter the any name for the form. This name usually correlates with the form name in Marketo and is displayed in the drop-down list of forms when adding a form to a board. The form name can be changed at any time by clicking the edit icon. 
4. Enter the Marketo Munchkin ID, Form ID, and Base URL retrieved above.
5. (Optional) Add a Custom Script in the text box to customize the form using the Marketo Forms Javascript API (External Link). For example, add a custom script to pre-populate hidden form fields using metadata from the Folloze Board. 
6. To show the form in the Designer, select the checkbox Available in designer. 
7. Save all settings. 

 

         

Edits to form fields are made within Marketo. Changes made in Marketo are reflected on the form in Folloze as soon as the Marketo form draft is published. Only the form’s title can be edited in Folloze.  

By default, Folloze auto-fills the following fields on the form: first name, last name, email, company, phone, country and state. The remaining fields are controlled by Marketo. 

Once the Marketo form has been added to Folloze, users can add it at board-level like any other form in the header, banner or promotion areas. To learn more, see Adding Call-to-Action Buttons to Boards. 

With Marketo forms, users can also set a redirect URL and send a thank-you message when a lead submits a form.
