The Folloze Account Engagement Score integration with HubSpot allows you to sync engagement insights directly into your HubSpot Company records. Once configured, you can:

• Track account engagement scores in HubSpot

• Trigger automated HubSpot workflows based on engagement levels

• Analyze engagement trends using HubSpot's reporting tools

 

What is the Folloze Account Engagement Score?

The Folloze Account Engagement Score measures the level of engagement from accounts interacting with your Folloze boards. The scores are categorized into four levels:

• Initial: Accounts with minimal engagement
• Growing: Accounts showing increasing engagement
• Active: Accounts with consistent engagement
• Surging: Accounts demonstrating high levels of engagement

Accounts that previously had engagement scores but have stopped interacting with your Folloze boards will be marked as "Disengaged". This allows you to identify accounts that may need re-engagement efforts. If a disengaged account begins engaging with your boards again and meets the criteria for scoring, the system will automatically update the Salesforce field with the appropriate engagement score.

Setup

Step 1: Create Custom Properties in HubSpot (HubSpot Admin)

 

1. Log into HubSpot as an administrator.

2. Go to Settings > Properties and filter by Company Properties.

3. Click Create property and create the following two properties:

 

Property 1: Folloze Engagement Score

• Label: Folloze Engagement Score

• Internal name: folloze_engagement_score

• Field type: Single-line text

 

Property 2: Folloze Engagement Score Last Updated

• Label: Folloze Engagement Score Last Updated

• Internal name: folloze_engagement_score_last_updated

• Field type: Date and time

 

Note: Company properties can be named according to your preference, as long as they are properly mapped in the Folloze Company Admin panel:

 

Step 2: Map Fields in Folloze Company Admin

 

4. Log into Folloze and go to Company Admin > Integrations > HubSpot Integration.

5. In the field mapping section, configure:

• Folloze Engagement Score  →  folloze_engagement_score

• Folloze Engagement Score Last Updated  →  folloze_engagement_score_last_updated

6. Click Save.

 

Account Matching

Creating New Companies from Folloze Contacts

By default, this integration only updates existing HubSpot Company records and will not create new ones. However, if you'd like new contacts synced from Folloze to automatically generate and associate a Company record in HubSpot, you can enable this via a native HubSpot setting:

1. In HubSpot, go to Settings > Data Management > Companies.

2. Under Automation, enable "Create and associate Companies with Contacts".

3. Once enabled, HubSpot will automatically create a Company record and associate it with any new contact based on their email domain.

This means that when Folloze syncs a new contact whose domain doesn't yet exist in HubSpot, HubSpot will create the corresponding Company - which Folloze can then update with the engagement score on the next daily sync.

 

 

Viewing Integration Logs

In Folloze, go to Company Admin > Integrations > HubSpot.

Download the score logs CSV to review: Folloze Account ID, Domain, Last Update Date, Status (Success/Failure), and Error Message.

 

 

 

Additional Information 

• Engagement scores are calculated daily based on account activity across your Folloze boards and are updated once per day in both Folloze and HubSpot via the integration.

• Only accounts with changes in engagement scores will be updated to minimize API calls.
