The Metadata & SEO tab allows you to configure the SEO settings. You can use data written in the item or add additional keywords.

In the Metadata & SEO tab, define the following:

OptionDescription
Enable SEO

By default, if Enable SEO is already selected at the Board level, it is selected here.

In case you do not want to have your content discovered using SEO, disable this option. For example, if you are working in draft mode or designing the item for a specific customer and you do not want others to see the content.

To disable it, navigate to Design tab > General.

Canonical URL

Select from the following options:

  • None: There are no duplicates in the item.
  • Home: There are duplicate SEO keywords. You should use the information from the Homepage.
  • The other options are the categories of the article. Select one/multiple categories.

Use item title & description as metadataSelect this option to use the same title and description as given in the Details tab.
Metadata TitleProvide a custom title using keywords to improve SEO results.  
Metadata DescriptionProvide a custom short description using keywords to improve SEO results.
