To promote a particular section on your board, you can use anchors and direct leads to specific content within the board.  

You can add an anchor link to any board section. 

To create an anchor link: 

1. Select the board on which you wish to add an anchor and open the Designer tab.
2. Hover over a section on which you want to add an anchor. The main action bar opens.
   
3. Click Create anchor. The anchor editor opens.  

• You can add a name with spaces; it will appear with dashes like this: ‘Ask-the-Expert’. 
• You cannot use duplicate names for different anchors on a board. 

  

Directing leads to an anchored section 

You can direct leads to an anchored section using a CTA button. Apply the Anchor action to a CTA button on the board. When a lead clicks on the button, they will be directed to the anchored section. 

Alternatively, send a campaign with the anchor name. You can send a public link or share a campaign or trackable link with added parameters. When a lead lands on the board using the anchor URL, they will scroll to the specific section.  

To direct leads to an anchored section using a CTA button:

1. Choose a button on the board and open the button editor. 
2. Under Actions, select Anchor and choose the anchored section you want the CTA button to direct to.    

To send a campaign with an anchor link:     

1. To share the board with an anchor, you can do one of the following: 

• Send the campaign as a public link. 

1. After creating an anchor link, click Copy link to copy the URL.                                                            
2. Paste the copied URL in a public email campaign.                                                      

• Send a campaign or trackable link with additional parameters, such as UTM parameters. 

1. Under Create Campaign, click Get Board Link. 
2. Add a hashtag + anchor name at the end of the Campaign URL. For example, [campaign url with all of its parameters]#[anchor-name]. 
3. Copy the campaign or trackable link with the added anchor name and paste it in your campaign.  

Viewing Analytics data 

When a lead clicks on an anchor link, you can view the activity on the Pulse table’s Activity Stream. The activity is called ‘navigated to anchor’ and presents the anchor name.
