You can set an expiration date for a board so it automatically goes Offline at a specific date and time.

When a board expires, its status changes to Offline. Visitors will no longer be able to access it unless the board is published again.

Organization Default Expiration

Your organization may have a default board expiration setting defined by a company admin.

If a default expiration is configured, it will be shown in Board Settings and may also appear during the first publish flow. Users can keep the organization default or override it for a specific board.

Board-Level Expiration Settings

Users can manage expiration for a specific board from Board Settings.

From Board Settings, users can:

1. View the organization’s default expiration setting.

2. Keep the organization default.

3. Override the default for that board.

4. Set a custom expiration date, time, and time zone.

Time selection is available in 30-minute intervals.

First Publish Experience

When a board is published for the first time, and the organization has a default expiration set, users will see a popup before publishing.

The popup shows:

1. The organization’s default expiration timing.

2. The scheduled date and time when the board will go Offline.

3. An option to select a different expiration date, time, and time zone.

If the organization default is set to No expiration, the popup will not appear and the publishing flow remains unchanged.
