After grouping related boards together in a channel, you can share the channel with others in your organization by: 

• Inviting subscribers to a channel by email invitation
• Sharing a link to the channel
• Inviting channel owners 

Inviting subscribers to a channel

To invite people to join a channel, send them an email invitation from within Folloze. You can invite more than one person at a time.  

Once you send an invitation, the invitees are automatically subscribed to the channel, even if they never open/accept your email invite. This is especially useful when you're sending a campaign on behalf of a group of sellers and you want to make sure they are all subscribers on the campaign board.

To invite subscribers to a channel:

1. Open your Folloze homepage. On the left sidebar, select the channel you want to share.
2. At the top right, click the menu button and select Invite.
3. Enter an invitee's email. To invite multiple invitees, use commas to separate each email address.
4. Click Invite > Done.

The recipient is now subscribed to your channel.

 

 

Sharing a channel link

You can also share a channel by providing a link to it, and then adding the link in an email or any other type of message. This is useful if you wish to recommend a channel to a colleague.    

Those who receive a channel link are not automatically subscribed to the channel. Instead, they can first explore the channel, and then decide if they want to subscribe.

To share a channel link:

1. Open your Folloze homepage. On the left sidebar, select the channel you want to share.
2. In the top right, click the menu button and select Get Link.

A dialog opens containing the link.             

3. Copy the link.
4. Paste the link into an email or other message, and then send it to your colleagues.

Inviting Channel Owners

You can invite other users from your organization to be owners of your channel. In this way, they can also add boards to the channel or edit a channel name and description. 

To invite an owner to a channel: 

1.  Open your Folloze homepage. On the left sidebar, select the channel to which you want to add an owner. 
2. At the top right, click the  menu button and select Invite. 
3. Perform one of the following:

• If the user isn't a subscriber on the channel yet, enter the invitee's email. Hover over the invitee's name and change the toggle from Subscriber to Owner.

   

  
• If the user is already subscribed to the channel, click the Invitees tab. Hover over the subscriber's name and change the toggle from Subscriber to Owner.       

   

  

      4. To complete the invitation, click Done. 

The new channel owner will receive an email notification informing them that they are now an owner of the channel.
