To analyze metrics at the account level, use the Account Engagement Dashboard, where you can explore metrics about engagement across time and boards.

Use the insights gained to enable account-based marketers and salespeople to work together and align their marketing and sales activities for their most strategic accounts.

Analyzing account engagement metrics

 You can view the following metrics on the account engagement dashboard:

a. A list of all engaged accounts

b. Engagement levels of accounts

c. Summary of views, actions and time spent on boards of accounts

d. Filter and search section to view metrics relevant to you

To analyze account engagement metrics:

1. Click the Accounts tab. 
2. To analyze the following metrics, view the on-screen dashboard:  

Metrics	Description
Accounts list	On the left-hand side, view metrics on all your accounts. When hovering over an account, you can see more details about the account, such as the account domain, industry, revenue, and number of employees. A blue label indicates new people in this account. When the last engagement occurred , i.e. 7 days ago.
Engagement level	In the dashboard center, view the bubbles. Each bubble represents one day’s activity. The bubble size represents the level of activity, based on actions taken. Red bubbles represent your outbound activities. Blue bubbles represent a lead’s activity, such as boards viewed and forms filled out. When hovering over a bubble, you can see the date of engagement and the number of actions taken and items viewed.
Engagement summary	On the right-hand side, view summaries on total items viewed, total number of actions and total time spent on content.   When hovering over the totals, you can see the specific actions taken, such as how many CTAs were clicked. Click on the arrow  to view a comprehensive summary of the account and UTM sources on the top of the dashboard.

3. To mark an account as a key account, click the bookmark icon . After bookmarking accounts, you can filter the dashboard to view your key accounts.

You can apply the following dashboard filters to view only the metrics relevant to you.

• Invited By Me: accounts which you invited at least one recipient in an outbound campaign.
• Bookmarked: a list of all your bookmarked accounts.  
• On My Boards: accounts that landed or were invited to boards, on which you have board permissions. These are generally the accounts most relevant to you.
• Recently Active: accounts with activity in the last 3 months.

By default, all filters are ON for all users, excluding the 'On My Boards' filter which is OFF by default. You can apply all the filters to the dashboard or apply any combination of filters, provided that at least one filter is selected.

You can use the search bar to find specific accounts in the dashboard. Your search query overrides the applied filters and searches all the accounts.  

After filtering the dashboard, you can sort the metrics:  

• By Time: sort by activity time, from oldest to newest or vice versa
• By Activity: sort by activity level of the entire account, from highest to lowest or vice versa
• By time frame: show data for a selected time frame - last week, last 2 weeks, or last month  

Analyzing metrics of individual people

To gain insights into the activity of individual people and identify the most engaged accounts, view the metrics of that individual.  

To analyze metrics of individual people:

1. Click the Accounts tab.
2. From the list of accounts on the left-hand side, select an account.

A list of individual people opens.

• For each person, you can see their name, email, and job title.
• If a person is new and joined within the selected time frame, a blue “new” tag appears next to their name.
• If a person is not recognized by the system, they are referred to as “Guest” and marked as “Inferred.”  

3. To view the individual person’s activity, hover over the bubbles in the center section.

• Red bubbles represent outbound activity, such as emails sent and who invited them to the board.
• Blue bubbles represent the individual’s engagement, such as which form was filled, which board was viewed.
• Hovering over the bubble shows the most significant session (visit) of the day, based on the highest number of actions taken.
• For each visit, you can view the source and what triggered that visit, the inviter, and which UTMs were tracked in that visit, in addition to the total visit time and location.

 

4. To view a summary of total actions and views and the total time spent on content, see the right-hand side of the dashboard.
5. To filter the metrics of individual people, use the following filters:  

• Identity: select to view All Identities, Known or Inferred users
• New: select to view metrics on new people that engaged with your content within the selected period.

Receiving an email is not considered engagement; only active actions, such as  opening an email, viewing an item, and filling out a form are engagements.

6. For a comprehensive view of the individual’s engagement activity, click on the arrow  to open the Activity Stream sidebar.

The following information is displayed:

• The individual’s information, including their name, email, account, role and address.  
• Activity stream of all visits of that person on the board from newest to oldest.  
• Details of each visit, including all activities taken by this person during a visit, such as the items viewed, forms filled out, CTAs and links clicked, and items downloaded
• The source of each visit, the inviter, the tracked UTMs, total visit time, and location.  

Sending campaigns to engaged accounts

To follow up and continue the loop of engagement, use the insights gained from the Account Engagement Dashboard by sending the campaign to selected people from the dashboard. For example, if a prospect likes an item about a specific solution, you can send them more information about this solution in a new campaign.

To send campaigns to engaged accounts:

1. Click on the Accounts tab.
2. Open a specific account.
3. Select the checkbox next to the names of individual users.
4. Click Create Campaign.

 FAQs

Where does account data come from? Why do I see these accounts?

• The list of accounts are the people from this account who received an email from you, and/or landed on the Folloze board from other channels.
• Each account in the list is a unique domain.  
• When you send a campaign, the recipient’s company is saved and linked to the email domain of the recipient.
• When people land on a board and are identified (by cookies and email), their domain is saved as an account.
• When people land on a board and are not identified, their IP is mapped to accounts and they are linked to that account, even if they are unknown.

Why do I see duplicate accounts?

• The account name is based on a unique domain.  
• There may be spelling mistakes when inviting users, or people registered with an email domain that’s different from their company domain.
• Hovering over the account name reveals the domain.

Why do I see accounts with no activity at all in view?

• The dashboard displays all accounts that had at least one activity.
• In some cases, accounts had their last activity before the selected timeframe.
• Last activity is displayed for each account and person on the list.
