Floating sections are views that float over a board and allow you to add important board elements anywhere on your board. You can position each floating section using the grid layout and fine-tune its vertical or horizontal positioning on the board.
You can add and fully configure several types of sections to float on your boards, such as:
- Contact cards
- Cookie consent messages
- Greeting message popups
- Gating form
Adding a contact card
To allow visitors and leads to contact you easily, add a contact card to your boards.
Your contact card is populated with information from your Folloze profile and includes your photo and contact details. You can also add a call-to-action button to the card.
For example, if you're a salesperson, SDR or marketing person add your contact card to your boards so that leads know how to contact you in case of questions.
By default, Folloze dynamically presents the Inviter (whoever invited the lead to the board) as the contact. However, you can name different people as the inviter and contact person. This can be useful when you’re building a board on behalf of another organization and want to add a different contact person and not yourself. For more details on changing contact card settings, read here.

Adding a greeting message popup
You can target your board visitors with a popup greeting message when they first open your board. This can add a human touch to your board, helping to personalize your interactions with visitors from the very beginning of their journey.
By default, the greeting is signed by the person sharing the board (the inviter). The board greeting only appears once on the first time someone visits the board. If that same visitor reopens the board later, they will not receive the greeting.
