To combine the header and banner into one section on your board, add a Header & Banner section. In this way, you can create a joint background for both section elements making them appear as one section.  

In the section editor, you can choose which section element you wish to design and edit the banner and header separately. 

Before you begin:

• Choose images to use in the Header and Banner section. 
• The maximum file size for images is 25 MB.
• The following image file types are supported: png, jpg, jpeg, gif, svg, svg+xml, ico, x-icon, webp
• The recommended dimensions for images in the Header and Banner section is as follows:
  •  Background image size of 2000px*2500px and keep the file size between 500KB - 1000KB.

Designing a Header and Banner section

1. Select the board on which you wish to add a Header and Banner section and open the Designer tab.   
2. Hover over the border between sections where you want to add the section and click Add Section. The Section Gallery opens and displays the section types.  
3. Select Banner from the section menu. Then, select the Header + Banner template. 
4. Click Add Section. You can only have one header on a board. If you wish to replace the current header, confirm the replacement. The new header+banner section appears on your board for you to design.
5. To design the section, open the Header and Banner section editor and choose the section element you wish to edit: Header or Banner.

Designing the Header and Banner section background 

You can design the header and banner section background with one joint background color, image or video. This enables you to make the banner and header appear as one section. In addition, you can update padding settings.    

1. To open the background editor, click the background icon in the top left corner of the Header & Banner section.

Personalizing the Header and Banner section 

When personalizing the Header & Banner section, you can create separate personalization rules for each section element. Additionally, you can create rules for the section background that will apply to the entire Header & Banner section.

For example, when building a board for many customers, you can personalize the header with a personalized logo for each organization according to account name. In addition, you can separately personalize the banner title or background image for the industry.
